For me it was easy to get acquainted with lace making, because I was born in a family where the tradition of lace making came down on my mother’s side since generations. The first time I had attempted to lace was by the time I visited the primary school. I had the courage to make my first professional lace work just as adult. At this time I got to know how many kinds of techniques and lace-works exists. From the lot of different laces I deal with the new style of bone lace.
I have made my first laces works for the jury in 1989. In 1991 I received the title of Folk artist. I participate in many exhibitions in Hungary and also outside of our country’s borders. I used to teach lots of children and adults before and I also do it nowadays. I am happy when I can see one of my students work on an exhibition or competition. It was a long cherished dream for me to show my works on a permanent exhibition.
